Up to 60 pieces of closes and household utensils excavated from Taizhou, Jiangsu province will be on exhibition to show the people’s daily life in Ming Dynasty (1368 – 1644 AD).
Exhibition of Cultural Relics from Nanjing Imperial Examination Museum of China

Venue: Exhibition Hall No. 2, Zhangjiagang Museum
The 1,300-year-old imperial examination system made great contributions to ancient China as it selected more than 800 Zhuangyuan, 100,000-plus Jinshi and over 1,000,000 Juren. The Grand Canal was closely interconnected with the Keju (imperial examination) culture because water transport used to be the most important and convenient means of transport at that time.
Spring Jiangnan — Flower and Bird Painting Album Exhibition
