2023 Suzhou Shushan Pear Blossom Culture and Tourism Festival is set to open today. We have prepared a guide to the festival for you to better enjoy the pear blossom scenery.
Traffic
Parking Lot
Temporary parking lots will be set up around Shushan Village. Visitors are advised to park at Xingxian Road Underground Parking Lot.
Parking Transport
- Take Bus Line 319, 338 or 339 to Shushan Village Stop树山村[公交站]. Bus Line 339 also stops at Shushan Station of SND Tram Line 2. Once you get off the bus, cross the road and head for the east to enter Shushan Village.
- Take Bus Line 46 or 321 to Shushan Transport Hub树山交通枢纽[公交站].
- Take SND Tram Line 2 to Shushan Station有轨电车树山站[公交站]. Once you get off the tram, cross the road and head for the east to enter Shushan Village.
Public Bike
There are many spots in Shushan Village where you can rent the public bike:
North side of Xingxian Road Commercial Square, the intersection of Xile Road and Shushan Road树山路与喜乐路交叉口, Dashiwu, Gejiawu戈家坞, etc.
Activities
A series of activities will be held through May, including running contests around the Taihu Lake, fairs, fishing competitions, camping by the Taihu Lake, the pear blossom festival, reading marathons, and photography exhibitions.
Delicacies
There are numerous agritainment sites in Shushan Village: Gejiawu戈家坞农家乐饭店(树山村店), Tangjiawu树山生态村唐家坞农家乐, Shushan Cunkou树山村口餐厅, Youran Beishan悠然北山精品农家(树山店), Wonderland CaféWonderland忘了咖啡·西餐… Each one of them has its special dishes.
