This year’s Minor Cold, the 23rd solar term of the 24 traditional Chinese solar terms, begins today, marking the start of the chilliest days of the year. As wintersweet blossoms are a beautiful scene in winter, follow us to find their charm in the city’s timeless yards.
Humble Administrator’s Yard
The wintersweet blossoms are grown to the south of the Tingyu Pavilion, east of the Hall of 18 Camellias, and west of the Floating Environment-friendly Tower. When a breeze blows, site visitors can scent a wonderful scent.

Lion Grove Yard
The winersweet flowers in harmony with white walls and black-tiled roofings in the garden.

Lion Grove Garden
Site visitors can locate wintersweet around such websites as Dongyuan, Shepu, Youyicun, and the Osmanthus Scent Structure. The flowers emit an unique scent.

Tiger Hill
The Tiger Hillside flaunts lots of wintersweet trees, among which the blooms around the Thousand Individuals Rock, Chaoyun Corridor and the Pagoda Yard are in full bloom, a perfect picture of the appeal of winter season.

Yiyuan Garden
The garden is populated with little blossoms around the corners. Some are in buds, while others remain in maturity.

Master of the Nets Garden
Around seven or eight wintersweet trees are spread around the Tiny Hill and Osmanthus Fragrance Structure, the Rosy Clouds Pond, the Cool Springtime Pavilion, and the Hall of Ascending Clouds.

Garden of Cultivation
The wintersweet trees by the pond have pale yellow, waxy, and sweet-smelling blossoms hung on all the branches.
