On July 9, a CPB primer ordered online by a Shanghai-based customer was picked up at the Cainiao warehouse in Taicang Port Comprehensive Bonded Area and then delivered to its destination. This is the first cross-border online order processed by Taicang Tianxiacang Cainiao Warehouse in the bonded area, marking the official operation of the first B2C cross-border e-commerce Cainiao Warehouse in Jiangsu province.
As one of the first-batch bonded areas that provide cross-border e-commerce bond services in Jiangsu province, Taicang Port Comprehensive Bonded Area has strived to expand its services for cross-border e-commerce services and introduce programs related to the business in recent years, attracting as many as 42 cross-border e-commerce companies to develop in Taicang.
The Cainiao Warehouse is expected to handle as many as 3,500 cross-border parcels per day after official operation, which will make it the biggest Cainiao Warehouse in Jiangsu province.
