Jiangsu Dayangshan National Forest Park江苏大阳山国家森林公园 is going through a series of upgrades on the occasion of the 10th anniversary of its opening.
Brand Upgrade
To further broaden its appeal and improve its influence, Wenshu Temple Scenic Spot has changed its name to Dayangshan Scenic Spot江苏大阳山国家森林公园大阳山景区. The national 4A-class tourist attraction is 10 kilometers away from Suzhou urban area. As the first site in the forest park that opened to the public, it boasts various historic and cultural spots and has become one of the most popular destinations among local travel buffs.
Next, the scenic spot will launch “Eighteen Scenes of Yangshan Mountain” program and roll out “Ten Beauties of Yangshan Mountain” brand.
Animal Kingdom
Early this year, the botanical garden大阳山植物园景区 became home to over 1,000 little animals such as llamas, meerkats, sika deer, ostriches, peacocks and goats. Visitors will have the opportunity to interact with these cute animals at close range.
Upscale Hotel
The famous homestay brand Lingering Mountain Resort and the local hotel brand Schotel are collaborating to renovate a hotel in Dayangshan, which is expected to open by the end of this month. Upon completion, the hotel will have 28 high-end suites, 3 ritzy dining rooms and a multifunctional banquet hall that can hold 100 people.
Teahouse & Noodle Shop
If you are into tea, Bailong Tea grown in Dayangshan is an absolute must-try; if you like to make tea with spring, you must come to Changpu Teahouse菖蒲茶庄 and have a cup of Bailong Tea with mountain spring.
