Princess Jieyou Musical

Princess Jieyou was a Han princess who made a 3,000-mile journey to Wusun as part of a marital alliance. The musical is of great significance to tap into cultural deposits of Xinjiang, promote cultural exchanges between Jiangsu and Xinjiang, and demonstrate global image of Chinese cultural and the Chinese nation.

Wu Bin Suzhou Pingtan Solo

Wu Bin was born in Suzhou, graduated from Suzhou Pingtan School and is now an outstanding performer at Wuzhong District Pingtan Troupe. He once performed in New Zealand, Tsinghua University and National Grand Theater and has garnered high praise.

Cao Zaifei’s Romanticism Exhibition

As a solo exhibition of artist Cao Zaifei and the first parallel exhibition of the Sixth Suzhou Jinji Lake Biennale, the exhibition demonstrates nine oil paintings and other forms of art including installations, sculptures, images and videos.

Chinese Zodiac Stamp Collection of Dai Yu Exhibition

Time: Feb. 25 to Mar. 24
Venue: Suzhou Shengxiao Stamp Museum of China苏州生肖邮票博物馆

Dai Yu has played an important role in the development of stamps in China. He began to collect stamps systematically from the 1980s. With his participation and support, World Shengxiao Stamps Catalogue came into existence between the 1980s and 1990s. Through his collection, we can appreciate the 70-year history of Chinese zodiac stamps, and witness the development of Chinese stamp.

Highlights from the Japanese Collection of the Royal Ontario Museum Exhibition

Venue: Suzhou Museum苏州博物馆

Most of the cultural relics from the Edo Period exhibited in this exhibition are the real export goods of the Edo Period or the handed down artifacts collected by Japanese immigrants in North America. Cultural relics with extremely high academic and artistic value have been transferred several times and have been collected by the Royal Ontario Museum of Canada through donations and foundation purchases. They have played an extremely important role in exploring the artistic ideas, craftsmanship, social structure and foreign exchanges of the Edo Period.
