Philadelphia Orchestra to perform in Suzhou on Nov. 16

To celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Philly Band’s historical 1973 tour of China, 14 participants of the Band will certainly take a trip to China for residency tasks in 2023.

On November 16, the Band will stage an exclusive chamber music performance at the Suzhou Museum苏州博物馆 and Humble Administrator’s Garden拙政园 and have a special performance at the Suzhou Culture and Arts Centre苏州文化艺术中心 including musicians from the Suzhou Symphony Orchestra.

As the very first American orchestra to do in China, the Philly Band has actually toured numerous cities in China 12 times since its first check out in 1973. It has actually created a profound relationship with domestic audiences, artists, and art performers.
