It is just the season for savoring winter bamboo shoots now. The delicacy boasts various nutrient substances, including protein, amino acid, vitamins, etc.
With a fall in the wholesale price, the selling price of winter bamboo shoots per 500 grams has come down from RMB30 yuan in early November to around RMB20 yuan.
Local strawberry
Apart from winter bamboo shoots, the local strawberry has also appeared on the market.
As the old saying goes, “When a thing is rare, it becomes precious.” Strawberries are usually priced high when they come out. At present, strawberries sold at supermarkets and fruit stores are priced at over RMB100 yuan per kilogram.
Local strawberries are expected to be widely available in early January, and the price will fall correspondingly. Besides buying them from markets, you can also pick them at local strawberry farms by yourself.
